Hello fellow gardeners! I have this basil plant that turned out pretty cool but nobody I've talked to has seen one like it (I've only asked 4 people) and I want able to find anything on google. I'm not surprised though because typing "basil" into google innundates the results with how to grow/harvest. Have any of you found a 3 leaf basil before? Do any of you know someone who might have? I'm pretty skeptical of the idea that something actually rare would show up in the 7 or so seeds I planted but the only reference to a basil plant like this was someone on the houzz forum in 2006 where one of the commenters got excited and claimed it was not common at all, should be patented etc... any thoughts?

I've never seen anything in the mint family with that leaf structure. I assume it has a square stem and actually smells like basil?
