Desperately looking for this herb known to me as velvet sage

A place to figure out what it is BEFORE you poke it in your mouth.

I am having a lot of trouble finding this herb know to me as Mediterranean velvet sage. I think it grows in turkey and have a couple of photos. It’s also very soft to the touch.

Can someone help id it and maybe help with a supplier or the plant, dried plant or seeds? Thanks!

Hmmm... it looks like what we would call Lambs Ear here in the U.S.

That looks just like the "regular" old culinary sage I have growing in my garden.

I've never seen it. Looks like a lot of the other Salvia species. I'd guess it has similar properties if it's in that genus.
