On the Candida-Free Diet laid out by Doc Jones (Module 2), it is suggested to avoid fermented foods, and yet in other modules/blogs/etc. the fermented foods are recommended... so, when and where can we have the fermented stuff? (Which I absolutely love to down, by the way. Also, make my own...)
On another note, on Module 3, the fact comes up that, yes, herbs and drugs can/do interact. I have found and recommend the book, "Herb Contraindications and Drug Interactions" by Francis Brinker, N.D. A very handy resource...

Thank you for that book recommendation.
And re fermented food: making and drinking kefir has restored my gut. I’m a believer.
Best,
Martha

The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas first.
Fermented foods are fabulous. I just don't recommend them during the Candida cleanse.
You could argue that the good bugs in the ferments help out compete the Candida.
You could also argue that lots of folks have some Candida is in their ferments.
I don't like arguing so I just say skip it that week. :0)
