Does anyone make kefir? I'm thinking I would like to start making some again, but of course I need some grains. Does anyone have some extra to share with me? The only catch is, whatever grains I get must never have come in contact with wheat or wheat products, as I am severely allergic to wheat, and also have a gluten sensitivity. I would be happy to pay for postage, or if you live in the Twin Falls area I could pick them up in person. Thanks
If I remember correctly (been a LONG time now) it sweetened the water some. That might have been from something we added. Not as tasty as the milk kefir though. I don't remember the growth of the grains as much either. Like I said, been a LONG time since we messed with them.
