Hello,

I am typically either pregnant or breastfeeding and am finding it difficult to find anything that I can use effectively for illnesses (colds and flu's). I have used a turmeric, black pepper, and honey combo, and I have used ginger (topically and internally) and those have both been very effective for the illness....only to find out that I shouldn't be taking a lot of those while nursing or pregnant. I am allergic to elderberry, too (which is in pretty much everything these days). Any advice? Are there any books I can get for herbalism for maternity?

Thank you for your time!
