Combining herbs in a tea is typically a non-issue as long as the herbs are safe. It's also a good idea not to mix herbs and medications unless you've discussed it with someone that knows about both. I've used a formula of Boswelia, Ginger, Black Cohosh, Burdock, Devils Claw, Marshmallow, Yucca, Cayenne and cinnamon. Works really well.

I wouldn't see much advantage to putting comfrey into it.

I am a scientifically and medically trained fellow that really likes microscopes. I don't think one would be of much use to an untrained person in the apocalypse. They are fun though.
