Re: chronic fatigue syndrome
One of my recent favorite quotes from Paul Bergner (December 4, 2016, FB), "The main issue is usually sleep debt, and most people, if they will lie in bed with the lights off for 12 hours for 3 nights in a row, will be mostly better after the third night. That is a screening test to see how bad...

Re: Highly nutritional herbs
I do not know if it grows where you are, but we LOVE Moringa oleifera. It is an easy addition to smoothies and salads... and I cook with it, throw it into soups and stews, 'cuz.. why not!?! :blob: It grows super-fast here in Central Florida, I have it espaliered to our fence for convenience of harve...

Re: 5 weeds for food and health
You do not have to cook your nettles, you can blend them into a smoothie.. the point is that the chemical on the inside of the leaf dissolves the stingers on the outside of the leaf
A friend once told me that the cure for the nettle sting was the nettle itself! Cool, right!?!

Re: Survival Trip Recap Please
What a great experience! Yes, one of the first things you learn in the military when heading out to the field is to TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET! Bad feet can REALLY ruin your day :sad puppy: I have spoken with Green Deane who says that he frequently heads out into the wilderness for days at a time to ove...

Are they poisonous? Red touch yellow...kill a fellow. Red touch black...friend of Jack. King snakes and milk snakes are harmles (red touch black) Coral snakes are elapids (related to cobras, kraits, sea snakes, mambas). They only live in the desert Southwest and are very timid. https://36.media.tum...

Re: How Homeopathy Works
I recognize homeopathy as one of those "bio-individual" things. It has not worked for me, but I accept that it does work for others. Let me explain further... I think it is similar to how people who have experienced severe trauma react to stimuli that others would casually dismiss, their e...

Love it!
There are many people who sing to their plants
This would be a charming song around the herbalist's campfire. It's kind-of catchy even. ~Jeni
