I've heard some folks have luck putting garlic into the water and that the birds will sometimes drink it OK if it's changed daily.

I've never seen it. Looks like a lot of the other Salvia species. I'd guess it has similar properties if it's in that genus.

Baneberry (Actaea arguta) and black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) are cousins. Michael Moore talks about it in his book Medicinal Plants of the Mountain West. He has used it without issues. I've only used black cohosh.

I've been testing an app called PictureThis for a couple of years. It's rarely wrong but once in a while it misses.
Close ups of the leaf and flower are a really good idea. Also, that app will show pictures of what it thinks it is. You can always tell the difference.

Monarda citriodora has properties similar to its cousin Monarda didyma (Bee Balm). It's good for respiratory stuff.
Makes a good bug repellent too. Just rub it on your skin.

Lash eggs aren't actually eggs. It's actually the sloughed lining of the oviduct and pus material from a infection in the reproductive tract.
