Rose of Sharon is a name used for a number of plants. Most of them are Hibiscus.
Hibiscus is in the malvaceae family along with marshmallow, mallow and holly hock and has similar properties to those kids.

I purchased the 7 week detox kit, but was surprised at the foods to avoid. I want to start the detox program but am afraid with the restrictions I won't be able to follow the diet plan. I eat a pretty healthy diet, avoiding processed foods, agro chemicals, soy, etc. , but I do like my dairy product...

I've been a practicing vet for about 30 years and have never seen any reaction like that to the flea meds folks use. I'm guessing it's something else.
