Hi

My name is Kelly and my family and I live in NW Ohio. I found this group after viewing one of Dr. Jones courses at an online summit. I really like what I heard and am glad to be a part of this group.

A little about me...I am a wife and homeschooling mama to 2 kids and we also have a dog and a horse to add to the fun. :) My background is in health education, and I am a trained aromatherapist and aspiring herbalist. I believe aromatherapy (including hydrosols) and herbalism pair well together and I enjoy creating items that contain both...such as a salve using calendula infused olive oil and Tea Tree essential oil. I love learning how to take care of my family through healthy eating and natural wellness solutions. I was impressed by the presentations by Dr. Jones and am hoping it works that I can begin my studies with him soon.

I have been gardening for years and always drawn to herbs, though primarily culinary ones. A few years ago I learned about the benefits of "weeds"...plantain, purslane, stinging nettle, etc and have been enthralled ever since.

I look forward to learning more here and getting to "know" you.

With joy!

Nice to "meet" you! I am a huge advocate of homeschooling, having homeschooled my own two for a time. :)
