Marjory Wildcraft put on a Summit, one of the presenters was Doc Jones. When he described Max and his predicament, we were sold. We bought the book for us and again for the kids. Then Doc had a workshop in Idaho Falls on short notice. I called my husband at work and told him he has to come home early today, we need to go to Idaho NOW (we live in Montana). Coming home from the medicine class, we bought 20 seeds for different herbs we thought we can't live without and planted them in long boxes on our windowsill in our Motor-home, marking each row with a tongue depressor. While those herbs were still sleeping, we scoured the landscape for useful herbs. Plantain! We made salve and gave a sample to everyone in our path, making believers out of many when it cured their mosquito bites in a jiffy. Next came the sticky cottonwood buds - giving free samples of our salve to all of those who were hurting and it helped - roping in more people interested in herbs. And so it goes, we were attending some herb walks, recording every morsel of wisdom bestowed upon us and transcribing it all. We now have piles of books about herbs and are happily cooking up potions, lotions and remedies which come in handy for anything that could ail us or others. Doc Jones is the best! Thank you for having that school in which we are now finally enrolled in!

What a great testimony of herbs and the concept of HomeGrown! Herbals.
