Are all types of calendula/marigold medicinal? If not, which ones are?

Not all marigolds are Calendula. The plant most people know as "marigold" or French marigold is a completely different genus. What you want is Calendula officinalis. Any variety of that species will work.

Does French Marigold have the same medicinal properties as Calendula Officinalis?
Or does it have different medicinal properties?
