I found these lovely yellow flowers on my way home from girls camp. They were very photogenic, especially with the contrast of the cute little butterfly/moth thingy. But what I really want to know is, do I go back and collect some for its amazing medicine? There was a TON of it! Do you know what it is and what it does?

There was also this one which looked similar but with much smaller flowers and different leaves. Any ideas what it is?

And last but not least is this lovely shrub! Very pretty :)

I don't know what they are but until you POSITIVELY identify them leave them there. If you know a local plant expert then collect a sample for them to identify.

Wolf Creek Summit

Not sure if this link will work but these plants are located at the top of Wolf Creek pass. Between Kamas and Hanna, Utah (East of SLC) Hanna(Tabiona) was where I grew up. Some of the most beautiful country on earth! As a teenager all I wanted to do was get out of there and see the world! 40 years later after seeing the world I just want to go back home! Such a beautiful, peaceful place to be. :) Funny how time changes perspective.
